WITH only a few months to year’s end www.cruisecritic.com – the world’s largest cruise review site – has released its annual awards for 2013.
The site’s international editors have named the best cruise lines and ships afloat from 75 cruise lines representing 400 ships.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s New York-themed ship, Norwegian Breakaway, has been named Best New Ship, after debuting in April this year, while AmaWaterways’ AmaPrima is named Best New River Ship after debuting in Europe this summer.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line won the Best Entertainment slot for the variety of offerings across her fleet; and Disney Cruise Line won the Best for Families and Best Shore Excursions categories.
australiancruisingnews.com agrees with most of these awards, particularly Azamara Club Cruises being named the best value-for-money cruise line with the fare on Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest including all gratuities, as well as items such as bar drinks and an exclusive onshore guest experience.
