Curtis Stone is the latest celebrity to tie his chef’s hat to a cruise line.

The Australian-born chef, now a darling of the international culinary scene, will leave his signature mark on Princess Cruises’ 18-ship fleet.

“Crafted by Curtis” menu items will be available in the main dining rooms across the fleet, followed by a specialty restaurant called SHARE on select ships, as well as a Chef’s Table experience that is also designed by Curtis Stone.

australiancruisingnews.com notes that Curtis’ pork belly and fall-off the bone lamb’s shanks are already a big hit on the menu in the main dining room of the Melbourne home ported Golden Princess.

Commenting on the partnership Curtis says the word “cruise” puts him in his favourite mood which is feeling relaxed.

“ I want to bring a new culinary experience to the sea to enhance and complete a cruise holiday. Since I travel often, I know that discovering delicious food and sharing a great meal can create some of the most memorable moments so I’ve designed the food experiences onboard with this in mind.”

Curtis says it is natural that his first restaurant at sea be called SHARE as sharing food with family and friends is the most enjoyable way to eat. I love the process of passing plates amongst each other  and creating meaningful connections through food and onversation.”

His first SHARE restaurant will debut in December onboard Emerald Princess sailing from Ft.Lauderdale (Florida) to the Caribbean, and on Ruby Princess sailing from Los Angeles for cruises to Hawaii and Mexico.

Coral Princess will be next to debut SHARE on a sailing through the Panama Canal, and when Sun Princess returns to Australian waters in April after refurbishment in dry dock in Singapore she will also have a SHARE restaurant on board, princess.com/curtis-stone
