The second annual edition of the Berlitz: River Cruising In Europe travel guide has seen APT and its river partner AmaWaterways take out the top ten spots in categories ranging from accommodation to facilities, cuisine and hospitality.

Cruising expert and author of the Berlitz: Cruising and Cruise Ships, Douglas Ward evaluated 310 river vessels for the river cruising edition.

“We are once again delighted that an esteemed expert such as Douglas Ward has recognised our impressive fleet of river ships as being the best in Europe,” says APT’s Debra Fox

She adds, “We work hard to exceed expectations, delivering exceptional service and the finest cuisine across our fleet, so it’s particularly pleasing to receive accolades that specifically recognise the onboard experience. We believe that achieving such high praise from an independent source once more reinforces APT’s position as the best Australian-based European river cruise operator.”

In addition to earning the top ten spots overall, APT and AmaWaterways’ European fleet secured two other  spots in the top fifteen rankings.

Those top fifteen accolades went to AmaPrimaAmaReinaAmaSerenaAmaSonataAmaVidaAmaVerde, AmaVenitaAmaCertoAmaBellaAmaLyraAmaDanteAmaDolce and AmaCello, AmaStella and AmaViola, aptouring.com.au

APT and AmaWaterways’ newest European vessels, AmaViola and AmaStella which joined the fleet this year, were not included in the just released edition of the Berlitz: River Cruising In Europe travel guide.
